Weekly Wrap-Up February 10-16, 2019

Can you believe we are halfway through February?! I certainly can’t believe it, but the amount of school work I have is certainly keeping me busy. With such long to-do lists, it is important to take a breather and reflect. Everyone can benefit from taking a step back and reflecting on their week. For anyone new here the goal is to reflect on your week to realize how many positive aspects there were, use your senses to observe the world around you, as well as focus on how you can improve to be a better person! I posted an introduction to explain the concept further, but here is a basic idea of what is included in a Weekly Wrap-Up post:

  • 5 Positive Senses 
    1. The sight of blue skies
    2. The smell of a new soap I’m using
    3. The taste of seafood penne pasta
    4. The sound of all of my friends laughing as we talk about our futures
    5. The feel of the clear air and breeze on Friday
  • 4 Things I am Thankful For 
    1. My brother giving me advice
    2. Talking to my sister on her birthday
    3. FaceTiming my best friend before her birthday
    4. My Duquesne friends
  • 3 Things I am Proud Of 
    1. Speaking my mind
    2. Going to the gym every day this week
    3. Staying focused in school
  • 2 Things That I Could Work On 
    1. Going to bed earlier
    2. Staying organized
  • 1 Hope For Next Week 
    1. Create more blog content
