The dry, winter air takes a toll on my skin, especially my hands. It has taken a long time for me to find the right products for my hands. So many hand creams claim to be moisturizing but are on the greasier side. I know some people don’t mind that feel, but it is not for me. I prefer creams that absorb quickly into the skin rather than leave a residue on my hands. Another issue that occurs in the winter weather is dry nails and I have a product to fix that, too. Take a look at the products I swear by to serve as a quick fix for dry hands!
Lavender Cuticle Oil by Deco Miami
Traditionally, people think of hand creams as the only cure for issues with dry hands. But that isn’t always the case. I personally struggle with my nails getting very dry and not looking their best. That is why I have learned to love the Lavender Cuticle Oil by Deco Miami. I received it in a FabFitFun box and I haven’t looked back! This oil is amazing for making your cuticles feel very soft and give your nails an overall healthy look. This product is 8-Free (meaning it is free of 8 harmful chemicals), cruelty-free, and vegan and retails for $8.00.
Mineral Hand Cream by Ahava
The Mineral Hand Cream by Ahava is another product I received in a FabFitFun box. It quickly became my go to hand cream, especially because a little goes a long way. In my opinion, if you use too much it can be a little greasy as it then takes a long time to absorb. But when just a little bit is used, it is great. It absorbs quickly and leaves my hands feeling smooth and hydrated. This cream includes key ingredients such as Dead Sea water and 21 different nutrients. The Mineral Hand Cream is hypoallergenic, vegan, paraben-free and retails for $24.00.
Vitamin E Lavender & Neroli Therapeutic Moisture Shea Hand Cream by Derma E
My final product is the Vitamin E Lavender & Neroli Therapeutic Moisture Shea Hand Cream by Derma E. It is the newest edition to my collection, but it quickly became my favorite for multiple reasons. A little goes an extremely long way. I have noticed how soft my hands remain for the entire day. My mom is a big fan as well; she was so excited to show me how soft her hands were in the evening after only applying it in the morning. It feels rich but sinks into the skin so quickly. I also love the price point – it retails for $7.95. This cream is vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, gluten-free, GMO-free, phthalate-free, petrolatum-free and lanolin-free.
